Meeting Martha Stewart...Dreamers into Doers NYC Event

This past week was an extraordinary experience for me. I had the opportunity to be one among eighty Dreamers into Doers of Martha Stewart’s online community to visit New York City. We spent two days attending seminars at Martha Stewart Omnimedia headquarters and attending a live taping of her show. It was an honor to be around all the talented women who came from across the United States to be a part of this amazing event.

Okay, I have to confess, I did not really get to meet Martha Stewart face to face but the next best thing was going to a live taping of her show! The two days went by so fast, it was a world wind of food, learning and meeting new people.  I had the great joy of being around so many wonderful, talented women and getting to know them for two days was an experience I will not forget. I made wonderful friendships and a renewed sense of moving forward with my business. I am grateful that I was able to have this once in a lifetime experience.

Being on the Martha Stewart show was a thrill. Being in the audience of a Martha Stewart Show was amazing. Getting to be on television, priceless! The fun thing about the show was the first segment which featured exotic animals that had been rehabilitated. The first animal up was a turtle and I knew this was the show for me because my son loves turtles and he would love this show. It was exciting to see the set and see Martha Stewart on her show.

One of the perks of the trip was the swag bag each of us went home with. The great thing was that we had an opportunity to contribute to the swag bag that each attendee would receive. It was fun designing and assembling 100 little Dream Big book marks to go into the swag bag.  I was so excited to see all the creative keepsakes in the swag bag that I opened the bag immediately on arriving at my hotel room. A great reminder of all the wonderful women I met and got to know for the two day event in NYC. I loved going through and seeing all the talented creations laid out before me!

Have a great week!
